# Create a 3D Design

## Create a 3D Design

To create a 3D design, start by clicking ‘+ Create Design’ in your project space. From there, navigate to the Building 3D section. Enter a name for your 3D model, then click ‘+ Create’ to get started with your new design.

Next, you’ll be asked to choose a Concept Fabric. Select ‘Moderate and Mixed Mass’ as your initial setting. This defines the default construction properties for early-stage modelling. Don’t worry, you can change this selection later if your design approach evolves. Once selected, click ‘Select’ to continue.

You’ll then be prompted to upload your first model. This marks the starting point for working with your building geometry in 3D, allowing you to visualise, edit and refine your design as needed.
