Glazed Doors

A glazed door is a part of the building envelope or an internal component that is typically considered a type of window, as it allows light to penetrate and can significantly influence both heat loss and heat gain.

Specify a Glazed Door

Glazed Doors (hinged, bi-fold, sliding, etc.) can be added to any aspect to be considered in energy or daylight modelling. For compliance purposes, a glazed door is deemed as a window. Similar to windows, they can be set for openability for airflow networks. See 'Add Glazing Openability' for more information.

Specify Glazed Doors by selecting the aspect and then select ‘Select Glazed Door’ on the Envelope tab. Specify the Glazed Door System U-value, System SHGC and VLT and then hit 'Save and Close'.
