At Better Building, we make HVAC system modelling simple and flexible. Our predefined EnergyPlus templates offer ready-made configurations for common HVAC setups, reducing complexity and saving time. Users can select a template based on their building type and system needs, making it easy to get started with simulations. Of course, these templates are fully customisable, so users can fine-tune parameters as needed for more accurate preliminary energy assessments.

For those looking for a deeper dive, we also support detailed energy modelling. This allows users to specify individual components and their exact characteristics, from chillers and boilers to air handlers and more. With this level of detail, users can run highly accurate simulations that reflect the real-world performance of their HVAC systems. While it requires more input, detailed modelling offers valuable insights to optimise system efficiency, improve thermal comfort and refine building designs for the best possible energy performance.
