# New Course: Moisture

Following on from the release of our [HAMT solver](/sign-up-and-plans/news-and-updates/2026/we-built-our-own-hygrothermal-solver.md) for wall and roof systems to provide easy access to hygrothermal or condensation modelling against ASHRAE 160 or DA07 requirements, we have now released an [updated course](/support-and-training/on-demand-courses/moisture.md) for you to jump into and learn more about this process.

The Moisture course runs for just under 50 minutes and aims to provide a process to start undertaking hygrothermal modelling. It is not a deep dive into ASHRAE 160 or DA07 itself, nor is it a deep dive into the National Construction Code. It aims to convey how best to approach modelling using this major new feature to start ensuring the safe, durable design of your wall or roof systems.

[Access further course information](/support-and-training/on-demand-courses/moisture.md). You will need to be logged into your account to undertake the course.
{% endhint %}

Should you have any access issues, it may be because you have started a previous course and have not completed it. If this is the case for you, you have two options.

1. You can either reach out via a [support ticket](/support-and-training/support-tickets.md) and explain your situation, or.
2. You can complete the older course and once completed, the new course will appear in your profile.

And as usual, multi-choice questions are provided at the end. Get 80% of these correct, and you gain a Certificate of Competency.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.betterbuilding.io/sign-up-and-plans/news-and-updates/2026/new-course-moisture.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
